Dr. Kim Basher moved to Boulder from San Diego in 2009. There she had a thriving house call practice with a large devoted following. For 11 years she provided quality and compassionate medicine, surgery, acupuncture and euthanasia.
Prior to this she was a veterinarian at Cardiff Animal Hospital, provided relief services to local veterinary hospitals and was employed at the San Diego County animal shelter.
Her devotion to animals has led to enormous personal dog and cat fostering… numbering in the several 100s. She is a member of numerous rescue operations in the San Diego area and provided free medical and surgical fostering. She volunteered her time with the Feral Cat Coalition in San Diego and assisted in the Hurricane Katrina rescue operation in 2005.

Dr. Basher then obtained her veterinary degreee from Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island Canada in 1997, moved to San Diego and found her niche providing personal and professional house calls.
